Inspired by their annual sabbatical in the Amazone, kings of the decks Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano adopted the Amazone jungle theme and translated it into a brand new event concept, held on the 27th of February 2010 in the Amsterdam Heineken Music Hall. Alongside friends and colleagues such as Gregor Salto, Chuckie and DJ Gregory, Sunnery and Ryan rocked a full house from sunset to sunrise during a five hour exclusive set against a background of the amazing Amazone theme worthy decoration.

Thousands of insane clubbers unanimously labeled the event as “fantastic” and the question remained: “when can we do this again?”.

To ease the wait, the ever energetic Sunnery and Ryan selected and mixed their current favorite tunes and blended this into a steaming mix compilation. Amazone Project - Mixed by Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano is the perfect musical summary of the Amazone Project event and presents a 18-track jungle of Latin American beats, wicked vocal house and pounding tribal tracks, fusing into the distinctive Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano trademark sound.

Tracks from house honchos Steve Angello, Martijn Ten Velden, Chocolate Puma and Dennis Ferrer are seamlessly fused with productions by upcoming talents such as Firebeatz, Genairo Nvilla and Shermanology, of course complimented with Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano’s exclusive remix work for a.o. Sander Kleinenberg.
