Selekted Music at Dancefair 2012: bring us your demo!

Dancefair, held in Utrecht (The Netherlands) on the 11th and 12th of February, is an educational conference which focusses on all aspects in the electronic music scene. Gear workshops, track producing demonstrations by world renowned artists, presentations of the latest music software, you name it. On Dancefair will be a Demo Feedback Area present for aspiring and ambitious producers to present their latest demos, and Selekted Music will be there to judge them. So look us up, present your tunes to us and get a chance to be Selekted!

Ruff Driverz pres. Arrola - Dreaming (Dirty Herz R

Carlos Silva nominated for a Cabo Verde 2012 Award!

Dutch producer Carlos Silva and vocalists Nelson Freitas and Eddy Parker are nominated for a Cabo Verde Music Award 2012. With their successful single Mystery, which has been released all over Europe in 2011, they find themselves in the category Best House alongside Dutch producers Stefan Vilijn and Gregor Salto amongst others. The official ceremony will be held on the 10th of March 2012 in Praia, the capital of Cape Verde. Fingers crossed! More info about the Cabo Verde Music Awards

South African bad boys Dirty Herz have always been huge fans of the humongous 1998 club classic, but it lacked a pumping peak-time mix. After they did a limited mail out to some key tastemakers with their Dirty Herz Remix, it already may count on DJ support from a.o. Tiësto, Vato Gonzalez and Marcel Woods. The bootleg turned into an official remix, became Tune Of The Week on Dutch leading download portal Dance-Tunes and is now available on Selekted’s sublabel Powerhouse!

Robin S - Be Thankful hits #7 in the ADE 2011 Buzz Charts

The comeback of house diva Robin S doesn't go by unnoticed. Her current single Shake It is getting huge love globally and is released worldwide, her performance on the Selekted showcase was truly amazing, and her follow up single Be Thankful became the talk of ADE 2011. Tradition wise, the UK Buzz Charts compiles a top 30 of the biggest ADE tracks, where Be Thankful entered on a whopping # 7!
