Huge melodic, epic breakdown based productions have been around for ages but as the music industry loves to put different music genres in little boxes, there's finally a phrase for it: big room! We love epic melodies and stadium anthems no matter
how it's called but to make life easier, we combined these tracks on a 20-track bundle and present it as Selekted Big Room, so everybody knows what's up. Out now on Beatport!

South African bad boys Dirty Herz have always been huge fans of the humongous 1998 club classic, but it lacked a pumping peak-time mix. After they did a limited mail out to some key tastemakers with their Dirty Herz Remix, it already may count on DJ support from a.o. Tiësto, Vato Gonzalez and Marcel Woods. The bootleg turned into an official remix, became Tune Of The Week on Dutch leading download portal Dance-Tunes and is now available on Selekted’s sublabel Powerhouse!

The comeback of house diva Robin S doesn't go by unnoticed. Her current single Shake It is getting huge love globally and is released worldwide, her performance on the Selekted showcase was truly amazing, and her follow up single Be Thankful became the talk of ADE 2011. Tradition wise, the UK Buzz Charts compiles a top 30 of the biggest ADE tracks, where Be Thankful entered on a whopping # 7!

In April 2011, young Kriss-One undertook a long voyage to the dark jungles of Africa with nothing but a toothbrush, a bottle of water and a recording device. After an intense search by various rescue teams, Kriss-One was found four months later in the Mandala tribe camp. On his way back to The Netherlands, the only thing Kriss-One could say was: “got to get to the studio!”. A week later, he finished this rocking three track EP.
Conclusion: even when in captivity, better record some wicked vocals!
